March soybeans are 69 cents higher in 3 sessions. Brazil’s trucker strike is adding fuel to the near-term buying interest.

Wake Up Call Allendale Advisory Center: Grain markets�are mixed to start the new trading year. Now that the Holiday's are over, expect most attention to turn to the January 12th USDA reports.

Weekly export sales�Friday morning for the week of�December 16 - 22 showed�Soybean export sales at�979,239 metric tonnes (974,139 2016/17 and 5,100 2017/18). Sales now total 86% of USDA's whole-year goal. That is quite a bit over the 80% five year average.
