The weather forecast for South America tends to be a bit more favorable to getting some harvesting done. World Weather Inc. says the evening GFS model update for South America suggested a reduction in rain for Uruguay and eastern Buenos Aires for mid-week next week. A boost in rainfall was suggested for areas from Minas Gerais to Tocantins and southwestern Bahia April 29 to May 3. A small increase in showers was also noted for central Argentina May 1. Some increase in rain was also suggested in Rio Grande do Sul and Uruguay May 1-3. Rain was removed from most of Argentina, Uruguay and far southern Brazil May 4-6.
