Israeli Company To Invest In Agriculture In South Sudan > Gurtong Trust > Editorial: In Eastern Equatoria, the company, joined by both National and Imatong State government officials on Tuesday gathered in Bur Payam Torit, at a field that was located to the company to launch its agricultural activities.

Speaking during the launch Imatong State Governor, Nartisio Loluke Manir appreciated the Israeli company's commitment to assist South Sudan in food production.

The Governor said that nearly one-third of Eastern Equatoria lies on the greenbelt region thus making it one of South Sudan's food basket areas.
