Notaro revisits The Pass in Netflix documentary, Amazon comedy | Arts and Culture | The Sun Herald: PASS CHRISTIAN -- In the Netflix documentary "Tig," comedian-actress Tig Notaro brings a film crew to her hometown, Pass Christian, where she spends a scene or two with a cousin, Coast attorney Donald Rafferty and his family.
It's when the camera pans the beach and catches sugar-white sands and gorgeous water that "Tig" makes Pass Christian look inviting. So do the shots of Scenic Drive homes. And the part where Nortaro has to have an oyster po-boy from Pirate's Cove.
But "Tig" isn't Notaro's only film project that's giving Pass Christian some love. She's starring in a television pilot for Amazon called "One Mississippi," that wrapped last week in Chalmette, La. It's based in a fictionalized Pass Christian called Bay St. Lucille.
